Donations

We accept many donations, both “in kind,” such as volunteer hours, and monetary.  A donation to YWCA can help bridge the gap for many women, children and families by supporting real people and solid programs.

When you give to YWCA of Genesee County, your generosity will be felt right here where you live.  Here are some examples of the impacts your donations will have:

  • Provides safe and nurturing after-school childcare for area youth
  • Funds our 24-hour domestic violence hotline
  • Supports training for family day care providers to ensure quality care and nutrition
  • Provides healthy snacks and on-site childcare for children who visit the Children’s Center at the Genesee County Courthouse
  • Pays for a domestic violence survivor to receive counseling, support, and temporary shelter
