Dear Community Members, Supporters and Partners,

The YWCA of Genesee County, like all of you, is closely monitoring all developments related to the COVID-19 Virus. Our number one priority remains keeping everyone safe and healthy. Therefore, effective immediately, we will be operating virtually (and remotely) to the extent possible, in order to limit the spread of the virus.

Domestic Violence Services:

Our staff will continue to operate our 24-hour Domestic Violence Hotline as normal. If you or someone you know needs assistance, please call our 24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline at

585.343.7513.

Our Domestic Violence Shelter remains open for those in need.

Please call our office at 585-343-5808 before coming in for an unscheduled visit. Our staff will gladly assess your situation and coordinate services as needed.

My Sister’s Closet Boutique

The Closet is closed for the immediate future and will reopen as soon as conditions permit.

Children’s Center in the Courts

The Children’s center is closed for the immediate future and will reopen as soon as conditions permit,

The changes reflected are intended to promote the social distancing trends occurring nation-wide and globally. It is only when we all do our small part, that the greater good is benefited.
