The Executive Director of the YWCA of Genesee County, Millie Tomidy-Pepper will be a guest speaker at The Books Sandwiched In event on October 2nd. She will be reviewing a book by Melinda Gates called The Moment Of Lift: How Empowering Women Changes the World. The book is a New York Times Best Seller and discusses many of the same issues that align with the YWCA’s Mission to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
