14th-#MMIW Indigenous People’s Day “ Indian women are murdered at more than 10 times the national average” – Savanna’s Act. Please stop by to learn more about this crisis within the indigenous community and to view our silent vigil on the front lawn of the YWCA at 301 North Street, Batavia. We will have a silhouette display with stories and statistics of missing and murdered Indigenous women. We welcome anyone who may want to bring flowers in honor of those women who are missing or have been murdered.

This Capitol Hill Call-In Day, we invite you to engage your Members of Congress. 17th-Ending Gun Violence: Disarming Domestic Abusers “1 in 3 female murder victims and 1 in 20 male murder victims are killed by intimate partners”-NCADV. Bushido Martial Arts, located at 4152 W. Main St Rd, Suite 11 in Batavia, has donated space in their self-defense class on October 17th from 6:30-8:00 PM. The class will focus on defense when threatened with a gun or knife.
