Hi! My name is Christina Dadey, I am a Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker. I am so excited to be the new Domestic Violence Counselor here at the YWCA of Genesee County. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work in this excellent program and to provide support and guidance to individuals and families who have previously or are currently victims of domestic violence. My goal is to foster positive interpersonal change and promote healing from trauma. I have over 20 years of counseling experience and truly believe that the human spirit is resilient. I am honored to walk through this journey with survivors and am committed to do so with honesty, empathy and integrity. I will promote healing by assisting clients in building the skills to cope with and resolve stressors in their life. Together we will determine achievable goals that build confidence and self-esteem. I deeply honor the personal growth process and I commit to helping every individual realize the power and rights they have to be happy, healthy and safe.
I am ready and available to anyone who is in need. Call or email me to set up an appointment today.
